 4{x}^{2}  + 4x - 3  = 0 \\ 4 {x}^{2}  + 6x - 2x - 3 = 0 \\ 2x(2 x + 3) - 1(2x + 3) = 0 \\ (2x - 1)(2x + 3) = 0 \\ 2x - 1 = 0 \:  \: or \:  \: 2x + 3 = 0 \\ x =  \frac{1}{2} \:  \: or \:  \:   x = - \frac{ 3}{2}
