Answer:

Did you mean \frac{4y+7}{4}=\frac{33}{4}  or  4y+\frac{7}{4}=\frac{33}{4}.

Never the less, I will solve both ways.

\to \frac{4y+7}{4}=\frac{33}{4}

Transpose 4 to the RHS.

{4y+7}=\frac{33}{4}\times 4

4y+7=33

Transpose 7 to the RHS.

4y=33-7

4y=26

Transpose 4 to the RHS.

y=26\div 4

y=\frac{13}{2}

\to 4y+\frac{7}{4}=\frac{33}{4}

Transpose 7/4 to RHS.

4y=\frac{33}{4} -\frac{7}{4}

4y=\frac{26}{4}

Transpose 4 to the RHS

y=\frac{26}{4\times 4}

y=\frac{13}{8}

HOPE THIS HELPS :D
