4y+y/5=21
=>4y²+5=21y
=>4y²-21y+5=0
=>4y²-20y-1y+5=0
=>4y(y-5)-1(y-5)=0
=>(y-5)(4y-1)=0
=>y=5 OR y=1/4

4y + y \div 5 = 21

4y*5/5+y/5=21.

20y/5+y/5=21.

21y=21*5.

21y=105.

y=105/21.

y=5.

therefore  \:  \:  \: y = 5.
checking \: by \: substituting \: the \: value \: of \: y \: with \: 5.

4(5)+5/5=21.

20+1=21.

21=21.

Therefore, y=5 is the solution to the equation 4y+y/5=21.
