 5,0.5,0.05,\ldots \:is \:an \:example \:for

 \underline{\pink{Geometric \: progression (G.P)}}

Explanation:

 First \:term (a) = a_{1} = 5

 Second \:term (a_{2}) = 0.5

 Third  \:term (a_{2}) = 0.05

 i) \frac{a_{2}}{a_{1}}

= \frac{0.5}{5}

 = \frac{1}{10} \: --(1)

 ii) \frac{a_{3}}{a_{2}}

= \frac{0.05}{0.5}

 = \frac{1}{10} \: --(2)

/* From (1) and (2), we get */

 \frac{a_{2}}{a_{1}} = \frac{a_{3}}{a_{2}} = \frac{1}{10}

 \therefore Common \:ratio \:is \:equal

 Given \: sequence \:is\:in \: G.P
