-5/10+9/7+3/20+-11/14

Step-by-step explanation:

4–3=1

5–4=1

7–5=2

9–7=2

11–9=2

14–11=3

Now see the differences's pattern~ 1,1,1,2,2,2,3…

So the next number should be 17 as difference between 17 and 14 is 3, and the next number after 17 should be 20 as the difference between 20 and 17 is 3.

After that difference will become of 4 for continue three further numbers in the given series.

There could be more than one logic here and so may be more than one answer.

Here is one of them:

Series1: 3,4,5,7,9,11,14

4–3=1

5–4=1

7–5=2

9–7=2

11–9=2

14–11=3

The next number should be 17,20,23,27,31,34….

Logic: The difference follows the pattern in the difference between adjacent terms like:

1 twice.

2 thrice.

3 four times.

4 five times

I think you got the logic. Good luck.

Thanks for A2A.

If we look at the first three terms i.e. 3,4,5 ,they are increasing by 1.

4–3=1

5–4=1

Now if we look at the next three terms (three terms after 5) i.e. 7,9,11 ,they are increasing by 2.

9–7=2

11–9=2

Also 7–5=2.

Now the term after 11 is 14 and 14–11=3 ,which means that the three terms after 11 are

11+3=14,

14+3=17,

17+3=20.

So the sequence will be like this 3,4,5,7,9,11,14,17,20… and so on.

Hope this helps :)

The first term=3

Next two terms can obtain by adding 1 to previous term

3+1=4,4+1=5

Next three terms can obtain by adding 2 to previous term

5+2=7,7+2=9′9+2=11

Now next four terms can be obtained by adding 3 to previous term

11+3=14,14+3=17,17+3=20,20+3=23

If you look at the pattern

3, 4, 5

3+1= 4

4+1=5

then look at the other pattern

5, 7, 9

5+2 = 7

7+2 = 9

9+2= 11

then, 11, 14, X

11+3=14

similarly,

14+3 =17

and 17 = X
