The series with same difference between two consecutive terms is called an AP (Arithmetic Progression)

AP = 5 , 11 ,17

a(first term) =5

d(common difference)=11-5

=6

a301 =?

Here n=301

a+(n-1)d

=5+(301-1)×6

=5+300×6

=5+1800

=1805

So, 301th term is 1805 .

a=5,
d=11-5=6
an=301
a+(n-1)d=301
5+(n-1)6=301
(n-1)6=301-5
(n-1)6=296
(n-1)=296/6
(n-1)=49.33
n=49.33+1
n=50.33
THEREFORE,301 is not a term in ap because n is in the form of decimal point
