Hey friend i have uploaded a photo for rationalising the deominator
5 +2√3/7 + 4√3 = a - b√3
by rationalising denominator u will get (in photo)
11 - 6√3 = a - b√3
as cofficient of √3 is -6 in LHS and -b in RHS
THUS
b = 6
then a = 11
