By Systematic method,

5 + 2y = 10

2y + 5 = 10

( Subtracting both sides by 5)

2y + 5 - 5 = 10 - 5

2y = 5

y = 5/2

y = 5/ 2 is your answer.

OR

If u need by Transposing method.....Its here :)

By Transposing method,

5 + 2y = 10

(Transposing 5 on the other side)

2y = 10 - 5

2y = 5

y = 5/2 .

y = 5/ 2 is your answer.

Hope it helps:)
