(5+√3)² is rational or irrational

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

=(5+√3)²

[USING (a+b)²=a²+b²+2ab]

=(5)²+(√3)²+2×5×√3

=25+3+10√3

=28+10√3

THEREFORE IT IS AN IRRATIONAL NUMBER.

= 25 + 3 + 10√3

= 28 + 10√3
