5(3-x)+3=5(4+x)-3

15 - 5x + 3 = 20 + 5x - 3

18 - 5x = 17 + 5x

-5x - 5x = 17-18

-10x = -1

10x = 1

x = 1/10

Hope this helps ✌✌✌

Question:-

➡ Solve the given system of linear equation and find x.

Answer:-

➡ The value of x is 0.1

Solution:-

➡ 5(3 - x) + 3 = 5(4 + x) -3

➡ 15 - 5x + 3 = 20 + 5x - 3

➡ 18 - 5x = 17 + 5x

➡ 1 = 10x

➡ 10x = 1

➡ x = 1/10

➡ x = 0.1

Hence, the value of x is 0.1

Verification:-

Let us verify our result.

Taking LHS,

5(3 - x) + 3

= 5(2.9) + 3

= 14.5 + 3

= 17.5

Taking RHS,

5(4 + x) -3

= 5(4 + 0.1) - 3

= 20 + 0.5 - 3

= 17.5

Hence, LHS = RHS

Hence, the value of x is 0.1 (Verified)
