Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

3x-4y = -7 -----------(1)

5x-2y = 0  -----------(2)

from equation (1) , we get

3x - 4y = -7

3x = -7 + 4y

x = ( -7 + 4y / 3 ) -----------(3)

putting the value of x in equation (2) , we get

5x - 2y = 0

5* ( -7 + 4y /3 ) - 2y = 0

-35 + 20y / 3 - 2y = 0

-35 + 20y - 6y = 0 * 3

-35 + 14y = 0

14y = 35

y = 35/14

y = 5/2

putting the value of y in equation (3) , we get

x = -7 + 4y / 3

x = -7 + 4*5/2 / 3

x = -7 + 10 / 3

x = 3/3/ = 1

Hence, x = 1 and y = 5/2
