Here , its is 4...

Let p(x) = 5 + 3x⁴

i ) degree of first term ( 5 ) = 0

ii ) degree of second term ( 3x⁴ )

= 4

Therefore ,

Degree of p(x) = Heighest power of x

in p(x)

= 4
