When you multiply a negative by a positive, you get a negative.
When you multiply a negative by a negative, you get a positive.
When you multiply a positive by a positive, you get a positive.

Remember these while solving your problems.

  -5 x 4      (A negative by a positive is negative and 5 x 4 is 20)      = -20
  6(-6)       (A negative by a positive is negative, and 6 x 6 is 36)     = -36
-12 x (-4)    (A negative by a negative is positive, and 12 x 4 is 48)    =  48
 3(-33)      (A negative by a positive is negative, and 3 x 33 is 99)   = -99
-12(-17)     (A negative by a negative is positive, and 12 x 17 is 204) = 204
-102(6)      (A negative by a positive is negative, and 102 x 6 is 612) = -612
