To find :

  • The ball which will strike the ground first

When a balloon is ascending and an object is dropped thw Initial velocity of the object will be same as the velocity of the ascending speed if the ballooon

The height for all the three balloons is same

So the balloon with speed of 4 m/s will have highest speed transmission to the cricket ball

So as 4 m/s balloon will have highest Initial velocity, it willreach the ground first

Given that Four balloons are ascending with uniform  velocities 3 m/s, 2 m/s, 1 m/s and 4 m/s. At the  instant when all balloons are at the same height, a cricket ball is released from each balloon.

When the cricket ball is released from each balloon , the balloon which has the highest and greatest velocity will reach the ground first.

So the answer is the balloon having the velocity 4 m/s.

So option (4) is correct .
