Given:

₹ 500 का 15% वार्षिक ब्याज की दर से एक वर्ष के चक्रवृद्धि ब्याज और साधारण ब्याज में अन्तर क्या होगा?

To find:

The difference

Solution:

The sum of money, P = Rs, 500

The rate of interest, R = 15%

The no. of years, n or T = 1 year

For Simple Interest:

S.I. = \frac{P\times R \times T}{100}

\implies S.I. = \frac{500\times 15 \times 1}{100}

\implies \bold{S.I. = Rs.\: 75}

For Compound Interest:

A = P [1 + \frac{R}{100} ]^n

\implies A = 500 [1 + \frac{15}{100} ]^1

\implies A = 500 \times  \frac{115}{100}

\implies A = 575

C.I. = A - P = 575 - 500 = Rs. 75

Now,

Difference between C.I. and S.I. for 1 years is = 75 - 75 = 0

Thus, the difference between the compound interest and the simple interest will be → 0.
