Step-by-step explanation:

i) 5/6+[-2/3]+1/3-[-2/3÷3/2]

= 5/6-2/3+1/3+4/9

= 5/6+1/3+4/9-2/3

= 15+6+8/18-2/3

= 29/18-2/3

= 29-12/18

= 17/18

ii) Ratio of quantity of milk is = 5:3

Can A quantity = 5x

Can B quantity = 3x

Difference between these two cans = 18

AQ,

5x - 3x = 18

2x = 18

x = 18/2

= 9

5x = 9*5

= 45 litres

3x = 9*3

= 28 litres

:: The quantity or volume of can A is 45 litres and can B is 27 litres
