Heya Sheena here!

Question => 5/6 - (-5)/6

Solution =>

There is a property which says that when two negative signs nearby the two negative signs turn into a single positive integer.

So,

5/6 -(-5/6)

5/6+5/6

Now as the denominators are same we can directly add the numerators.

5+5/6

= 10/6
= 5/3

So the answer is 5/3

The sum is a combination of the fractions and integers chapters.

Hope this helps!
