  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

           Given data:-  \frac{5}{6} +\frac{7}{4}.

To find:-Value of the given equation.

           Solution:-

  • We will take the LCM of the denominators, and make denominators the same.
  • We will Convert the given fractions to equivalent fractions with the denominator as the LCM.
  • Adding the numerators over the denominators.

              \frac{5}{6} +\frac{7}{4}\\\frac{5}{6}=\frac{5 \times 2}{6 \times 2}=\frac{10}{12}\\\frac{7}{4}=\frac{7 \times 3}{4 \times 3}=\frac{21}{12}\\\frac{10}{12}+\frac{21}{12}=\frac{10+21}{12}=\frac{31}{12}.

Hence we will get the value \frac{31}{12}.
