When you specify the volume of a gas , you have to specify temperature and pressure conditions as well. I will work at STP
At STP , 1mol gas has volume = 22.4L
Mol of CH4 in 5.6L = 5.6/22.4 = 0.25 mol CH4 gas
Equation:
CH4 + 2O2 → CO2 + 2H2O
1mol CH4 will produce 1 mol CO2
0.25 mol CH4 will produce 0.25 mol CO2
At STP , 1mol gas has volume = 22.4L
Mol of CH4 in 5.6L = 5.6/22.4 = 0.25 mol CH4 gas
Equation:
CH4 + 2O2 → CO2 + 2H2O
1mol CH4 will produce 1 mol CO2
0.25 mol CH4 will produce 0.25 mol CO2
