density=mass/volume

m=5.75    Δm=0.02

v=1.5        Δv=0.1

d=m/v

  =5.75/1.5

  =3.83

By error analysis

d/Δd=m/Δm+v/Δv

putting the values Δd=0.01

∴d=8.83 \frac{+}{} 0.01 g/cm³

As we know that,

Given:

Mass of a substance = 5.75

Δm=0.02

Find out:

The density of the substance in terms of % error

Let us:

Density = \frac{mass}{volume}

so,

m=5.75

Δm=0.02

v=1.5

Δv=0.1

then,

d=\frac{m}{v}

  =\frac{5.75}{1.5}

=3.83

Now by error analysis d/Δd=m/Δm+v/Δv

putting the values Δd=0.01

d=8.83 ± 0.01g/cm³
