  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

       Given data:- \frac{5}{9}+\frac{8}{3}.

To find:- the value of x.

       Solution:-

  • We will take the LCM of the denominators, and make denominators the same.
  • We will Convert the given fractions to equivalent fractions with the denominator as the LCM.
  •  Adding the numerators over the denominators.

    Therefore,

          =\frac{5}{9}+\frac{8}{3}\\= \frac{5\times1+8\times3}{9}\\=\frac{5+24}{9}\\=\frac{29}{9}.

Hence, the value will be \frac{29}{9}.
