• Artisans are poorly paid and the work is very strenuous so they are not regular in production.

• Production rate is very poor compared to the time of production. It cannot compete with the bulk production of Industrial Products.

• The price of handicrafts are much higher than industrial products.  The finishing of Handicrafts is not as perfect as Industrial Products.

For all these reasons people prefer Industrial Products to Handicrafts.
