Answer:

(a+b+c) do work in 10 days

so,( a+b+c)'s work =1÷10 and as they work together for 4 days so work done by them in 4 days = 4÷10 =2÷5

remaining work = 1+2÷5

(b+c) take 10 more days to complete 3÷5 work

so, (b+c)'s 1 day work =3÷5

now A's 1 day work = 1÷10 - 3÷5 = 1÷25

A does 1÷25 work in 1 day

therefore, A can complete 1 work in 25 day

Answer:

  1. Remaining work= 10-4= 6 days
  2. B and C together to finish the remaining work is 10-6=4 days
  3. B and C together to finish the whole work is = 16×10\6= 80/3
  4. A+B+C = 10 and B + C = 80/3
  5. now take LCM which is 80 so the work of A+B+C is 8 and work of B+C is 3
  6. then subtract 8-3= 5 which is A's alone work
  7. now divide with the work which is 80
  8. 80/5=16 days is the answere
