5. A copper wire has diameter 0.5mm and resistivity of 1.6*10-8Ωm. What will be the length of the wire to make its resistance 10Ω? How much does the resistance change if the diameter is doubled?

R=pl/A

10=1.6×10^-8×l/π×(0.25×10^-3)^2

l=122.7 m

when diameter is doubled resistance decreases 16 times
