or if the soil is too basic you can prefer to add an acid eg.Hcl

If we have to neutralise the soil then we have to add acid or base in the soil. As if the soil is acidic then we will add base in the soil and if the soil is basic then we will add acid , because as we know that when acid and base are reacted with each other then it results in neutralisation reaction
