A fertiliser contains 25% of chemical A and
40% of chemical B, and the rest is chemical C.
Find the quantity of A, B and C in 80 kg of the
fertiliser.​

Answer:

Chemical A = 25%

Chemical B = 40%

Chemical C = 100% - 25% +40%

= 100% - 65%

= 35%

Chemical A = 25%*80 = x

25/100* 80 = 20 kg

Chemical B = 40%*80 = x

40/100* 80 = 32 kg

Chemical C = 35%*80 = x

35/100* 80 = 28 kg
