5. A fruit seller buys mangoes at 7350 per hundred and sells them at 348 per dozen. Find his profit or loss percent

C.P = Rs90 per dozen

cost of per mango = 90/12

Rs 7.5per mango

he sold at the loss of 8%

S.P = 7.5−(8/100)×7.5

= 7.5−0.6

= 6.9

i) Now the customer will pay Rs 6.9 per mango.

ii) Now the cost of 40 mangoes

= 6.9×40=276

Hence,

the cost of 40 mangoes is 276.
