Neither a loss nor a draw will be any good to us in this game. We have to win, or we're out of league cup. The option A is opted because this is a negative sentence so a negative option should be chose. Option b is used when there are more than one scenarios, option c is used when you have to discuss various other scenarios. Similarly other options were used in opposite situation.
