Difference between exclusive series and inclusive series.​

• In exclusive series, value of upper limit of one class interval is the lower  limit of the next class interval and the value of upper class limit is included in the next class interval's lower class limit. It is useful in series containing decimal points.

• In inclusive series, the value of upper class interval is present in that particular class interval only. Therefore, it is useful when values are in whole numbers.
