perimeter of that square is

1km/5 = 1000m/5

=200 m

so, the side is

200m/4

= 50 m

hence, the area of that square is

50m^2 = 2500 sq.m

Hope this answers will help you...

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation

if the square park has a side x, then one round covers 4x, then 5 rounds would cover 20x.

20x = 1km = 1000m

x = 1000/20 = 50m

Area of the park = 50×50 = 2500m^2.
