Step-by-step explanation:

Per metre = Perimeter

Perimeter of rectangle=2(length+breadth)

=2*(13+10)=2*23=46 per metre

Cost of carpeting the floor=46*6=276

So, 276 will needed to carpeting the floor

Given:- Length of room is 13m and breadth is 10 Cm. carpeting cost of per m² is Rs.6

Solution:- As we know that the shape of Flore is rectangular, so :-

➢Area of floor = length × breadth

➢Area of floor = 13m × 10 cm

➢Area of floor = 130 m²

Now,

Rate of carpeting per m² = 6 units.

Rate of carpeting 130 m² = 6× 130

Rate of carpeting 130m² = 780 units

➢780 units
