5) A sum of Rs 35 is in the form of denominations of one rupee coins and 50
p coins. If the number one rupee coins is 3 times 50 paise coins. Find the
number of coins of each denomination.​

Let 1 rupee coins be x.

0.5 rs coins be y.

1 rs coins are three times than 0.5rs coins.i.e x=3y

Then 1x+0.5y=35

1(3y)+0.5y=35

3.5y=35

y=10

x=3y=3(10)=30

So 1 rs coins=30

0.5rs coins=10
