(5) A tank is9/10 full of water. If 100 litres of water is taken out from it, then it is 2/5 full.
What is the capacity of the tank?​

let the capacity be x

therefore, 9/10x-100L=2/5x

9/10x-100L=4/10

by transposition

9/10x-4/10x=100

5x/10=100

5x=100×10

5x=1000

x=1000÷5

x=200

therefore,the capacity of the tank is 200L
