=> Initial Population = 25000

Find the population after 1st year :-

=> Increase = 5% of 25000

=> Increase = 0.05 × 25000 = 1250

=> Population = 25000 + 1250 = 26250

Find the population after 2nd year :-

=> Increase = 6% of 26250

=> Increase = 0.06 × 26250 = 1575

=> Population = 26250 + 1575 = 27825

Find the population after 3rd year ( Present population)

=> Increase = 8% of 27825

=> Increase = 0.08 × 27825 = 2260

=> Population = 27825 + 2260 = 30051

Answer =》The present population is 30051.

I hope this will help you dear..

Population 3 years ago = 25000

Population increased at the rate of 5%, 6%, 8%

Now, after an increase in 5% of population,

New population = 25000 + 5% of 25000 = 25000+ 5/100×25000

=26250

After an increase in 6% of the population,

New population= 26250+ 6% of 26250 = 26250+6/100 ×26250 = 27825

After an increase in 8% of the population,

New population = 27825 + 8% of 27825 =

27825+8/100×27825

= 30051

Hence, the present population is 30051
