AB=AP + PB = 1+3 = 4cm

AP÷AB= AQ÷AC

∆APQ = ∆ABC

area ( ∆ APQ)÷ area (∆ABC) = 1÷16

area ( ∆ APQ) = 1÷16 × area ( ∆ ABC)
