Advantages of High Biodiversity:


1) By having more biodiversity the environment can be conserved and will more easily recover from disturbances of ecosystem


2) More plants means the better environment and lesser effect of green house gases or temperature rising.


3) The biodiversity helps to maintain the food web circle , while disturbing it can result in the scarcity of food.


Disadvantages:


1) More biodiversity means more animals and plants hence the population and living of humans can be restricted


2) Excess of wild animals can harm the humans or each other. There will be more conflicts over territory or water.


3) The establishment of the forest or an accceptable environment for so many different animals may be costly.


Disadvantages of Low Biodiversity


If a natural disaster were to occur, the whole population could be wiped out.

More cost efficient for humans, such as monoculture

About 3.3 million years ago, there was regular obstacles like dangerous wild animals that are now considered extinct, harsh climate, food scarcity, ice age which pose a great threat to the survival of humans. There were only forests when first humans appeared in Africa about 100,000 years ago. Europe, was completely covered with Ice.  

Humans used stones and stone equipment to hunt down large mammals like Mammoths for food.  

Every day they go hunting to survive. They used to hunt red deer, Bison and more which may kill them within an instance. They discovered modern techniques in hunting, like inventing Bows and arrows, harpoons, spears and more.

They introduced cave paintings to convey their life style to the next generation. They used to tattoo themselves.

Their lifestyle was so much impressive than ours.
