Example = Gravity, Gravity pulls everything to it self so it's call ( Non - Contact Force ) and another example is Friction, Friction is something that let us walk if Friction is less that surface will be slippery and if Friction is high it will be so rough and nobody will be able able to slip and play on it they can only walk there. So Friction works on surface of anything but not in air that's why this is call ( Contact Force )
