Answer:

Cooper=24%

nickel=35%

zinc=(24+35)%-100%=41%

quantity of zinc in 15 kg of alloy=41%of 15000gm

=41/100 *15000g

=41*150

= 6150gm

= 6kg150gm

Answer:

Given in the question:-

  • Copper=24%
  • Nickel=35%
  • Total weight are= 15 kg

SO,:-

  • Zinc will be 59%, Because

(24 + 35) - 100 = 59

  • The 1% is equal to 150g, Because

 \frac{15000}{100}  = 150

Solution:-

  • The persentage of zinc × 1% i.e. 150

59 \times 150 = 8850

  • 8850g will be converted into 8.85 kg.

 \frac{8850}{1000}  = 8.85

The Zinc is 8.85 kg out of 15 kg. The presentage of zinc is 59 kg.
