Answer:

3 % loss

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Cost price in Jaipur = 4800 RS

transport cost = 1200

So cost price of article in Delhi is = 4800+1200

=> 6000rs

To find out = loss or profit percentage

solution :-

Cost price = 6000

selling price = 5820

=> clearly selling price of article is lower than cost price so there is loss

now loss % is

=> 6000- 5820

= 180

so => 180/6000×100

=> 18/6 = 3% loss

Answer:

3%

Step-by-step explanation:

Bought for =            4800  ( SP 1 )

Transportation =     1200

Sold for =               5820 ( SP 2 )

Here, CP = 4800 ; SP = 5820

Now, CP for selling the article in Delhi will be the price it was bought for ( SP ) + the transportation cost ( 1200 )

- The final cost price for the article is 4800 + 1200 = 6000

Gain / Loss = Loss

Loss = 6000 - 5820

        = 180

Loss percent =   loss

                            ------    * 100

                             CP

= 180/6000 * 100

= 3%
