u= -10cm
v= 15cm
f= ?; magnification= ?
we know that;
1/v- 1/u = 1/f
1/f = 1/15 - (-1)/10
= 1/15 + 1/10 == (2+3)/30
= 5/30 == 1/6 = 1/f
therefore, f = 6cm
magnification = v/u = 15/-10
= -1.5
therefore, magnification = 1.5
