5. An object with a mass 10 kg moves at a constant velocity
of 10 m/s. A constant force then acts for
4 seconds on the object giving it a speed of
2 m/sin opposite direction. The acceleration produced
is :-
(1) 3 m/s
12V-3 m/s2
(3) 0.3 m/s²
(4) -0.3 m/s²

Answer:

(2) -3m/s^2

Explanation:

u = 10m/s

t = 4sec

v = -2m/s ( since in opposite direction)

a =  \frac{v - u}{t}

a =   \frac{ - 2 - 10}{4}  =  \frac{ - 12}{4}  =  - 3

Hope it helps....!
