ANSWER: S={1,2,3,4,5,6}=6 [n(S) ]

(I). an odd number?

P(A)=(1,3,5)=3is n(S)

P(A)=n(A)/n(S) =3/6=1/2

so an odd number probability is 1/2

(ii). an even number?

P(A)={2,4,6}=3is n(S)

P(A)=n(A)/n(S) =3/6=1/2

so an even number probability is 1/2

We can say directly 1/2...
