1. if our earth doesn't rotates then the main thing is that day and night will not change there will only day or only night .

the place where is night in that place no plants will grow because as we know that plants also need sunlight for the process of photosynthesis. and if plants will not live it is not possible that humans can survive in that place.

2. the lines on the graticule are reffered as latitude and longitude the standing line from south pole to north pole is latitude and the line from east to west is longitude.
