The correct order will be Nylon> Silk > Cotton.

  • Nylon lies in the category of synthetic fibres due to which it is the strongest of all. It is specially designed to bear a lot of stress before breaking, because of which it is used in ropes, etc.
  • Then next comes silk which has a little less ability of forming long chains as compared to Nylon due to which it comes in second position.
  • While cotton is the last one because it cannot form long chains therefore it breaks off easily.
