Solution

Let the present age of Sherya be x then Arjun be 2x

• After five years ago
• Shreya's age = (x - 5)
• Arjun's age = (2x - 5)

➢ According to the given condition

➡ 2x - 5 = 3(x - 5)

➡ 2x - 5 = 3x - 15

➡ 15 - 5 = 3x - 2x

➡ x = 10
