Harihara was the first king of Vijayanagar kingdom followed by his brother Bukka Rayaa. During Bukka's rule the Madurai region of Tamil Nadu and Goa became part of the kingdom.
Four dynasties which ruled over Vijayanagar were the Sangama Dynasty, Saluva Dynasty, Tuluva Dynasty and Aravidu Dynasty.
