Annelida:

  • Consists of hydeostatic skeleton
  • Body is composed of rings or segments
  • Respiration occurs through skin or parapodia
  • They show the presence of closed circulatory system
  • Excretion occurs through nephridia
  • Example: Earthworm , Aphrodite

Arthropoda:

  • consists of an exoskeleton made up of chitin
  • body is segmented into three regions-head,thorax and abdomen
  • body is segmented into 3 regions-head,thorax and abdome
  • They show the presence of closed circulatory system
  • Excretion occurs through coxal gland on malpighian tubules
  • Example: Prawn , cockroach
