Chandra Shekar Azad was born on 23 July 1906 at Bhavra, Central India agency in Madhya Pradesh. He was born in the era when British were ruling over India. Chandrashekar Azad father was from Kanpur, after the birth of Chandrasekhar Azad their family shifted to Madhya Pradesh.

His father name is Sitaram Tiwari, and his mother is Jagrani Devi Tiwari.

Chandra Shekhar Azad was a true freedom fighter and political activist.

Chandrashekhar Azad mother wanted his son to be a Sanskrit scholar, so she recommended her father to put Chandrashekar in high-level school but Chandrashekhar Azad was a socialist, so he decided to leave school and take part in the freedom movement.

At the of 15 when Mahatma Gandhi noncorporation movement was going on Chandrashekhar Azad actively participated at this moment.

Mahatma Gandhi gave Chandrashekhar Azad his name Azad, and from then onwards he was preferred as Azad.

After the noncooperation movement of Mahatma Gandhi has not been successful Chandrashekhar Azad become more aggressive, he also participated in many other movements and tried very hard for the Indian Independence.

After doing many Revolutionary movements he met with many freedom fighters, with the help of Lala Lajpat Rai he participated and did many Revolutionary movements but once Lala Lajpat Rai was killed by the British officer John Saunders, Chandrashekhar Azad become very angry and with the help of Bhagat Singh and his friends Chandrashekhar Azad killed the British officer John Saunders who killed Lala Lajpat Rai. Many of our leaders are in full support of Chandrashekhar Azad.

He had developed many friends, and because of his more contact, he made many Revolutionary groups.
