 {\huge {\mathfrak {Answer :-}}}

Let the S. P. of a hen be x .

Now, S. P. of 144 hens will be

= 144 × x = 144x .

Swarn lost the S. P. of 6 hens.

➡️ Loss = 6x

Cost Price of 144 hens will be the S. P. of 144 hens plus the lost S. P. of 6 hens.

➡️ C. P. = 144x + 6x = 150x.

Now using formulae,

➡️ Loss Percent

= Loss/C. P. × 100

= 6x/150x × 100

= 100/25 = 4 %

.°. Loss = 4 %
