Answer:

(a) Rs. 112500

Explanation:

As 15000 indicates 1/10th value of goods so if u multiply it with 10 which gives 150000 and now reducing 25% profit from it which is 37500 u get 112500.

Answer:

(b)The cost price of goods sent out on

consignment will be 1,20,000

Explanation:

Given that,

Chandu of jaipur sent out certain goods to Makkhu of Delhi in which fraction of goods lost ij transit are

 \frac{1}{10}

Given that,invoice value of goods lost was 15000.Let the invoice value of all goods be x

 =  >  \frac{x}{10}  = 15000 \\  =  > x = 150000

Therefore,the invoice price of all goodsis 1,50,000.We are also told that profit is 25%.

Let the cost price of the goods be y.Therefore

 =  > y +  \frac{25y}{100}  = 150000 \\  =  >  \frac{125y}{100} = 150000 \\  =  > y = 100 \times  \frac{150000}{125}   = 120000

Therefore,The cost price of goods sent out on

consignment will be ₹1,20,000
